Currently, there are many machine learning-based applications designed to help reduce excavation costs, increase tool life, and reduce downtime.
2. Enhance the AKD performance of TBM cutterheads: Another trend in TBM cutterheads is the increase in hardness, with the ultimate goal of using more wear-resistant blade materials. This is very important to improve the AKD performance of the cutterhead, which means that it deforms less during the moment of rotation and does not have to replace the blade frequently.
3. Reusable blades: During the process of drilling tunnels, different geological conditions such as concrete, soil, and rocks require different cutterheads to adapt.
